The Times has published a letter today by Katarina Lee, a Contributing Researcher for CORE. With reference to an article on surrogacy that appeared on the Times2 of July 20th, reporting that surrogacy in the US is regulated, Ms. Lee warns that it is inaccurate to state so. She writes: ‘[In the US] There is no federal law regulating surrogacy arrangements, and most states do not have laws regarding surrogacy. This lack of law means that there is no protection for surrogates‘
